Men's Emergency Shelter
The Men's Emergency Shelter can house up to 21 single male residents and contains 18 beds with 3 overflow cots. Residents can stay up to 30 days. Residents are expected to work towards gaining employment and/or income, and accessing permanent housing. Supportive service staff are available to assist the residents in these goals and include a Case Manager, Job Service Representative and Addiction/Mental Health Counselor. In addition to working on employment and housing, residents must abide by rules and regulations, including but not limited to: being in by curfew, performing daily chores, receiving nightly breathalyzers as well as random urine analysis', etc. Residents are charged $12.00 a day for program fees while staying in the Men's Emergency Shelter and have the opporunity to do work exchange to reduce their cost to $6.00 per day.
