Daily Bread Shelf
The Daily Bread Shelf is located in the north lobby of our 1800 E Broadway Avenue location. Great Plains Food Bank and volunteers go out to the local supermarkets, Bread Poets, Starbucks and Sam's Club to bring back what these kind businesses have set aside for us. We take what we need for our shelter residents and the Stone Soup Kitchen. The rest is put out on the Bread Shelf for our homeless and low-income neighbors to come and take free in order to supplement their food and incomes.
Bread items are available after 11am Monday- Satuday.
